Website Redesign
The Texas Tech Alumni Association is proud to unveil our new and improved website design. We are also excited
about our new and more informational website
address, www.TexasTechAlumni.org.
As you have already noticed, our first step in the redesign was to remove the white text on the black background.
Many people found the old color scheme difficult to read and we hope that problem has been adequately addressed.
Next, you’ll notice the top and left side of the pages now have new and more informative navigation bars. The
pull-down menus along the top will remain constant no matter where you are on the site so that you can access
any page of the site from anywhere. The links down the left side will have some constant aspects as well, but this
area also will change to show pages that are relative to the area in which you are. For example, if you are in the
Membership area, the links on the left side will include Join/Renew, Levels and Benefits, Platinum Members, Gold
Members, etc. We hope this makes your visit to our site more efficient and enjoyable.
We are also excited about some new features that directly benefit you the user. Your profile page is now stuffed
full with useful information. At one glance, you will be able to see Class Notes that are relative
to your graduation year and/or major, post your own Class Notes and photos and see if any of your
old classmates have visited the site recently.
The Event Registration area of the site also promises to be a favorite. When attending an Alumni Association event,
you will now be able to read information about an event, see an attendee list and then order and pay for your
tickets all online.
We hope you will take some time to view and use all of the new areas of this website. We believe you will enjoy your
visit.
