Distinguished Alumni Dinner - Friday, October 15, 2010
The Distinguished Alumni Awards are presented annually by the Texas Tech Alumni Association. This year's Distinguished Alumni Dinner will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010.
The dinner and awards are designed to recognize and honor alumni who have made significant contributions toward furthering the excellence of Texas Tech University through outstanding accomplishments, careers and/or through extraordinary measures of service. A video biography is viewed during the evening, highlighting the lives of those honored.
A reception will be at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. To make reservations, please contact the Alumni Association at 806.742.3641.
In addition to honoring the recipients of the award, the program spotlights the accomplishments of Texas Tech, enhancing its image as a university. The awards manifest tangible evidence of the success and progress of Texas Tech University.
Nominations are accepted from members and friends of the Alumni Association, Texas Tech University faculty and staff. Attendance at Texas Tech University is a requirement to be eligible for nomination, although receiving a degree is not necessary.
