Programs Student Recruiting
Techsan Connection
About the Program Techsan Connection is a joint effort between the Office of Admissions and the Alumni Association to unite volunteers and motivate them to support and promote Texas Tech University. Through Techsan Connection, the Office of Admissions hopes to extend its reach through the volunteer recruitment efforts of well-trained and enthusiastic alumni, parents and friends of Texas Tech.
By becoming a Techsan Connection volunteer, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of Texas Tech University. In lending your talents and strengths as a volunteer, you may:
- Refer students to Texas Tech.
- Represent Texas Tech at college fairs in your area.
- Engage in Accepted Student Congratulation.
- Attend/Host Receptions.
- Attend Prospective Student Events.
- Attend Freshmen Sendoffs.
Techsan Connection volunteers will assist the Office of Admissions by representing Texas Tech University at various recruitment activities and by identifying and maintaining contact with prospective student from their community. Volunteers stay informed of basic admissions information through materials provided by the Office of Admissions and the Alumni Association. Volunteers are expected to familiarize themselves with training materials provided, attend updates when necessary and provide feedback.
Your involvement, no matter how great or small, will have a tremendous impact on the lives of our prospective student. You may be the reason a student chooses Texas Tech.
