Texas Tech Accepts Meineke Car Care Bowl Invitation
Texas Tech University has formally accepted its 35th bowl invitation in school history and will face the University of Minnesota in the Meineke Car Care Bowl on Dec. 28, at Reliant Stadium in Houston. (8:00 PM ESPN)
Tickets for Texas Tech’s third appearance in the Meineke Car Care Bowl can be purchased immediately at www.texastech.com or by calling the athletics ticket office at 806-742-8324 (M-F; 8:30-5:30 p.m. CT). Texas Tech has received an allotment of 12,000 tickets for the game and fans are encouraged to purchase tickets through Tech so that the university receives credit toward this allotment.

TexFest
Join us at TexFest from 4-8 p.m. in Budweiser Plaza on the south end of Reliant Stadium. Mark McKinney will perform live on the Bud Light Stage starting around 5 p.m. There will be food, fun and interactive booths in addition to the Texas country music. There is no admission charge and you can come and go from this area as you please.

Bowl Watching Party in Houston
Food and drink specials available, including a $15 “Texas Bucket” with SIX domestic beers. A portion of all sales is returned to the Houston Chapter of the Alumni Association to help fund local scholarships.
