History

The Texas Tech Alumni Association created the Top Techsan Staff Award in 1973.

The Top Techsan award honors staff members who display hard work, dedication and genuine Red Raider enthusiasm. Honorees will be recognized annually at the Top Techsan Luncheon.

To be eligible for consideration, nominees must be a current, full-time, non-faculty employee of the university and have completed two years of service with the university the year a nomination is submitted. Nominations are accepted from current faculty, staff or students. Recipients of previous campus awards are eligible for nomination.

The selection method for Top Techsans is a two-step process. The nominator will complete and submit a nomination form. Then nominees will complete a separate application themselves.
