TTAA Call for National Board Nominations

Help support the mission of the Texas Tech Alumni Association—to cultivate loyalty, tradition, service and lifelong relationships—by assisting our nominating committee as it seeks nominations of outstanding alumni to serve on the National Board of Directors for 2018.

The Nominating Committee meets three times annually to discuss potential candidates. We encourage our worldwide chapter leadership, current and former board members and other alumni to nominate Red Raiders who meet the criteria and have the talent to advance the association as an independent, non-profit organization promoting academic excellence at Texas Tech University.

Please understand that a nomination does not guarantee that an alumnus/alumna will automatically be slated for election as a board member. We are fortunate to receive more nominations of qualified individuals than we have available positions each year. Each year, the Nominating Committee does a comprehensive board matrix review to ensure that potential candidates for board service help advance the goals of the National Board for diversity in many areas—from professional and volunteer expertise, geographical location, and talent, to gender, age and ethnicity.
