The McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center on the Texas Tech campus breathes tradition and spirit. Renovated and expanded in 2010, the facility is a beautiful setting for weddings or other special occasions. The facility is conveniently located next door to the Kent Hance Chapel, making for a great wedding and reception location. The Ballroom can be divided in six separate sections, or combinations of sections to fit the perfect size for your event. A deposit is required to secure this location. The space also divides nicely, allowing for small lunches, and larger conferences and meetings. Call (806) 742-0400 for information and reservations.

• Free parking available at the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center parking lot
• Up to 340 guests for a seated dinner with up to 700 guests for standing reception

Rental Times:

For regular facility rentals, reservations can be made for full day or half day events.

• Full Day: 7 a.m.-midnight
• Half Day: 7 a.m.-5 p.m., or 5 p.m.-midnight

For special occasion rentals, reservations are from 10 a.m.-midnight.
